Lack of a Recent Post
Thank you for your overwhelming support of my little blog. I truly enjoy making every entry and checking in on how many views they have had. Because let’s be honest it’s always all about me, or in your case you. haha. I realize it has been a long time since I have written a post so I thought I would give you a quick update and let you know what I have planned for some future blogs.
First a quick update. International Montessori School held their annual Artstravaganza, where student produced art is auctioned off to parents for ridiculous sums of money. Each class made a piece and one of them, from my campus, sold for $25 000 Canadian. Yes you read that right 25 and three zeros for kid art. The whole evening was a classy affair with cocktails and canapés. Nance and I discovered one of the most beautiful beaches in HK right in our own backyard. We visited Hong Kong Disney and I enjoyed being an eight year old child again. We took a little HK vacation to Discovery Bay where we relaxed in a sea view suite, and got to see the part of the Disney fireworks that made it over the mountain. The sailing club started up at my school and I scored the chance to be the supervisor so now every Wednesday after school I’ll be sailing. To help get fit and for a chance to branch out and meet some new people Nance and I joined our Principal on Thursday night for some English Morris Dancing lessons. I’ve always liked my principal but seeing him dance a Morris Jig enamoured me with him that much more. Finally, and best of all, I have being typing this all down on my new MacBookPro.
Thanks again for visiting. Check in soon for a post about Stanley, and a more detailed account of my sailing adventures once I go on a few more. Spring has sprung here in HK, the days are longer the sun is brighter and the air is warmer. Hope back home and where ever else you may be reading this from is just as nice.
